Technical Assistance
ALINe runs a rapid response helpdesk which provides professional advice on monitoring and evaluation issues for agricultural development organisations.
The service is for large and small agricultural development organisations and grant-making organisations, who want independent advice. We give input at different stages of the programme cycle including conception, design, monitoring and evaluation systems development, reviews and others.
Examples of our previous work include:
- reviewing a programme's theory of change, and developing a monitoring and evaluation plan for a multi-million dollar UN programme
- reviewing monitoring and evaluation plans for major new proposals to work on agricultural value chains in Africa and India
- commenting on a baseline survey for assessing a major new agricultural market intervention.
