Feedback Systems
ALINe offers specialist consultancy advice in designing and implementing feedback systems.
Working closely with staff, our input can range from conceptual design to operational implementation - including developing feedback methods, appointing and training local researchers, analysis and reporting systems, and facilitating interpretation of findings and action planning.
We adapt best practice from across the sector to each organisation's specific context, with a particular focus on cost-effectiveness, sustainability and manageability.
For example, feedback systems can be used to monitor:
- the quantity and quality of extension services delivered by staff or partners
- farmers' access to support services
- farmer engagement and confidence in farmer organisations
- unintended consequences, opportunities and constraints to program goals
- women's experiences of program activities, as distinct from men's
- changes in self-reliance, skills and empowerment
- farmers' perceptions of other key indicators (such as access to markets)
- Fees are charged on a consultancy basis. We aim to publish learning from pilots to contribute to learning in the sector, in collaboration with clients and respecting their confidentiality.
