ALINe welcomes Yvonne Pinto as new Director
In January 2010, ALINe welcomed Dr Yvonne Pinto as the new Director of ALINe.
Yvonne will also continue to work with the Global Forum on Agricultural Research (GFAR) to organise and deliver the first Global Conference on Agricultural Research for Development (GCARD) at the end of March 2010. Previously, she was a Program Officer in the Agricultural Development team at the Bill and Melinda Gate Foundation.
Yvonne said, “I am really looking forward to being involved in this dynamic and important project. Agricultural development can benefit in numerous ways from innovative and rigorous methods of planning, measuring and evaluating to improve performance that are centred on those meant to benefit – farmers."
